Encounters with Canada is a program that brings outstanding young people together to spend one week in Ottawa at the Terry Fox Centre.  This youth forum includes 100 young people living in a dormitory setting with experienced Canadian teachers as chaperones.  Together, they explore Ottawa and look at future career options and share their hopes and dreams of a better Canada.  Our teens will get a chance to be ambassadors for Gladstone Secondary in a youth forum with young people from all over Canada!  They will get to know Canadians of their age group and visit a Wildlife Preserve.

Ms Ng will be taking applications from our outstanding teens to participate in this amazing program.

All applicants will need a letter of recommendation from their principal and their counsellor and they will coordinate with  Ms Ng.   Please note that this program fulfills the Residential Requirement of the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Program.   Contact Ms Ng for details.
